Horseshoe Bay Men’s Golf AssociationThe Horseshoe Bay Resort Men's Golf Association (MGA) is a membership organization open to all members with golfing privileges. There are currently 425 members, with handicaps ranging from 1 to 28.
The MGA conducts 17 tournaments a year, including individual and team events using formats such as scramble, stroke play, match play, shambles, alternate stroke, and Stableford with an entry fee of only $30. In addition, there is a spring Guest Day and a fall Two Day Member-Guest.
Horseshoe Bay Women’s Golf AssociationThe Women’s Golf Association of The Club at Horseshoe Bay Resort is one of the largest and most active associations in the state. The organization is proud of their history and commitment to the mission of our association: to promote good fellowship, healthy competition and charitable acts among the members and encourage active participation in women’s 18-hole golf. This is an organization where you will enjoy playing golf, make friends for life, learn the rules and etiquette important to this great game and improve your skills. Regular scheduled play days are on most Wednesdays from February through November. One of the most popular events for the WGA is the “Rockfest Team” competition, which is played on six Wednesdays throughout the year. There are themed tournaments, including our important Charity Tournament, Eclectic, Pair Affair (member-member) and Member-Guest tournament. There is something for all players of all levels.
Horseshoe Bay Women’s 9-hole Golf AssociationEstablished in 1983, the Womens 9-Hole Golf Association welcomes golfers of all handicaps to come together to play golf and meet friends along the way. The association has 80 current members and is growing every year. Playing on Thursdays, January through November. Awards are given for Chip-In’s, low putts, low gross, and low net. They offer 6 tournaments with social activities throughout the year that include play days with 9-hole golfers from surrounding areas, a memorial tournament at Whitewater Putting Course and so much more.
Fab ForesThe Fab Fores program is an encouraging and welcoming environment designed to teach beginning women golfers tips and techniques that will help enjoy playing golf. Each session will include a formal 30-minute lesson which will focus on the various golf skills needed to enjoy playing this game. Members will break into the groups of 3-4, where they will play four holes on the course with a golf pro cycling through the groups and offering "on the course" advise. Members will then be invited to join each other after golf for Happy Hour.
Junior Combined Golf & Tennis CampsKids of all ages and skill levels can join fun and educational summer camps at The Club. Pick up a racquet and play at one of our Tennis Camp sessions or hit the links at one of the Sports Camp sessions. Campers enjoy golf on championship courses and tennis on Laykold® hard courts, red clay or ProGrass full-size courts. All of our camps include world-class instruction from tennis and golf professionals, lunch and swimming.
